Tex-Mex Black Beans Three ways with Amber Sturtz A Wellington Foodies Class

Wellington Foodies have invited the fabulously talented Texan Chef, Amber Sturtz from "Easy as Kai" to host this rather special class based around three Tex-mex, black bean recipes. 

Amber is one of the merry band of Chefs at Ti Kouka Cafe and has a passion for delicious, wholesome food, made using the best NZ ingredients. 

This class is suitable for vegetarians and gluten free!

Black beans are a staple of most Mexican diets and a great way to incorporate protein into any vegetarian diet. They are very versatile and can be used for all sorts of meals. 

Amber will teach us how to prepare black beans from scratch. When the beans are ready we'll turn them into three different dishes - nachos, vegetarian tacos and black bean chili. This is a hands on class, and at the end of every course, you will get to sit down and enjoy eating what we've made. 

Amber will also arm us with a list of where to buy Mexican ingredients in Wellington. 

The price of this class is $75pp and includes; class, all ingredients, recipes and a glass of wine or soft drink with dinner.
